Project Description: Echo Garden is an interactive installation where users work together to control the direction and strength of a central fountain using gestures and distance sensors, watering surrounding flowerpots. Each flowerpot features a swaying mechanism that activates when it detects water through built-in moisture sensors, creating a lively and joyful response. Surrounding LED lights provide intuitive visual cues, guiding users through the correct watering sequence needed to unlock hidden musical rewards. Designed as a playful, puzzle-solving experience, Echo Garden invites users to cooperate, explore, and discover: only by following the light-guided sequence and coordinating their actions can they trigger a full garden dance and celebratory music. By merging gesture-driven water control, dynamic light patterns, responsive plants, and interactive sound, the project transforms everyday public spaces—such as offices, hotels, or gardens—into immersive oases that foster relaxation, teamwork, and a deeper emotional connection with nature.
